Client facing & Primary research

This section brings together projects where I worked with real-world data, stakeholder context, or primary research rather than relying only on secondary sources. These projects helped me understand how business problems change when they move from theory into practice: information becomes incomplete, stakeholders have different priorities, and recommendations must be realistic rather than just ideal.

The two main projects in this category are my DigiLink EV Fleet Transition Consultancy report and my dissertation on customer behaviour in casual dining. Both required me to move beyond generic business analysis and work with context-specific evidence.

The DigiLink project focused on whether a Leicester-based smart-home installation company could transition its diesel van fleet to electric vehicles in a financially viable and operationally realistic way. The project combined sustainability, operations, financial modelling, QGIS mapping, policy research, and implementation planning.

My dissertation examined how physical environment and perceived service quality influence customer satisfaction and behavioural intentions in a casual-dining restaurant through emotional responses such as pleasure and arousal. This project allowed me to combine environmental psychology, service marketing, primary survey data, and quantitative analysis.

Together, these projects represent the kind of work I am most interested in developing further: applied research that connects business strategy, human behaviour, sustainability, and decision-making.
